LIFE ABOARD A HOSPITAL SHIP (Mercy Ships): Marci and I are onboard the Global Mercy for three weeks. This is to prepare us for a two year commitment starting in July. During this “get to know you” period, I have volunteered in the kitchen, cafe, hospital laundry, HOPE Center, hospitality team, and dining room. I have met some amazing people and learned a great deal. These jobs are far more complicated than you might expect!
